ABOUT STWATCH ============= STWATCH is an easy to use stopwatch and countdown timer for the Psion Series 3. It is accurate to about a tenth of a second. The stopwatch can be paused and restarted; laps can be recorded without stopping it; the stopwatch can be reset whilst it is running and you can record laps without stopping it. The countdown timer sounds an alarm when the time expires. It has a single key operation and is simple to use. The application can be loaded into the top level system menu with its own stopwatch icon. Most commands are displayed on the screen. Further information is given by pressing the HELP key. INSTALLATION ------------- The information is held in a zipped self extracting form. To unpack the files make a directory for STWATCH, copy the zipped file STWATCH.EXE and type: C:> STWATCH Copy the file STWATCH.OPA into the \APP directory and the file STWATCH.PIC into the \OPD directory. Then install the icon by pressing Psion I or selecting Install Application from the Apps menu when running the system. LICENSE ------- This version of STWATCH is a shareware product and may be distributed over bulletin boards. If so, please supply the file STWATCH.EXE. To use STWATCH in a commercial, educational or governmental agency, it is necessary to purchase a LICENSE which costs œ7.50 per machine on which it is used. OTHER PRODUCTS FOR PSION COMPUTERS ---------------------------------- SYLINK A comms application which enables the link between PC and Psion computers. It offers script file control and screen handling. The Shareware version offers local communications only. This product has all the functionality of Psion's MCLINK and you can set the time of the Psion computer automatically from the PC, invoke programs, etc. Shareware license fee œ20 (+carriage and VAT) (Carriage œ3+VAT UK, œ6+VAT overseas). B-TREE This offers fast, efficient access to ordered data on both PCs and Psion computers. Ordered files may be created on the PC, then accessed and updated on the Psion computer through OPL or C. The files may then be transferred back to the PC where the information can be extracted. Price œ250.00 (+carriage and VAT) LINK UTILITIES This allows MCLINK to be closed down at a given time and to be closed down from the Psion computer. OPL extensions are also provided to invoke LINK and close it down correctly. Price œ300.00 (+carriage and VAT) STOCKMANAGER An off-the-shelf stock counting and stock management package for the Psion HC.
